I found this video on Google Video while researching the work of Robert Anton Wilson. He’s on my reading list along with Buckminster Fuller and Christopher Hyatt.
Unfortunately, I’ve been so busy and have a pile of other books to finish, I’ve been trying to summarize their theories by watching video footage online until I can study these authors in depth.
This video may be challenging and thought provoking to some. My biggest takeaway was how language can trap us into thought patterns we don’t necessarily want, and how being mindful of language can be very liberating. Wilson refers to this alternative language as E-Prime. After the initial confusion I got it, and realised how much language can mess with our heads.
Being in direct marketing and pay per click marketing, I appreciate the value of words and keywords already, but this opened me up to whole new perspective.
